Stand With Her is a small studio based in the United Kingdom, run and operated by women who came together specifically to launch this project. Some of us have lived through postpartum depression. Some of us watched a sister, a daughter or a friend go through it and felt how little there was to hold on to. We are not a charity department inside a large company — we are a handful of women who decided that awareness needed something you could hold in your hands.

We work in support of two things that cannot really be separated: postpartum mental health, and women's rights. A woman who is not believed when she says she is unwell is a woman without rights in the room that matters most to her.

Stand With Her is an independent online shop operated by MKM MARKETING LIMITED (Company No. 17372248), registered in England and Wales.

It started the way these things usually start for women — with a news story, and with the comments underneath it.

Over the past years we watched case after case in which a new mother reached the very edge of postpartum illness, and the public response was not care but condemnation. Before anyone asked what help she had been given, whether her symptoms had been dismissed, whether she had been sent home with a leaflet and a follow-up appointment months away, she had already been sentenced in headlines. And every time, the same women's chorus appeared in the comments: I felt that too. I told someone. Nobody listened to me either.

What moved us most was what happened outside the buildings. Women who had never met the woman inside would arrive dressed in pink and stand together in a circle — silent, unpaid, unrelated to the case, there purely because they recognised something of themselves in it. Some held signs. Some just held each other. That image — a woman at her lowest with a ring of strangers refusing to let her stand alone — is the entire reason this project exists.

So we sculpted it. Not a portrait of anyone; the figures are deliberately anonymous, because the story is not about one woman. It is about the pattern.

• No One Fights Alone — the circle itself. A woman seated with her face in her hands, one figure standing by her shoulder, and a closed ring of women with linked arms around her. Closed, because solidarity with a gap in it is not solidarity.
• We Stand United — the moment the circle finds its voice. The same women, now holding signs, with the scales of justice rising behind them: private support becoming a public demand to be taken seriously.
• All For One — accountability. Women on one side, and on the other the systems and the men who failed them, seated and shackled, made to look back. Illness is not a crime; abandoning a woman who asked for help is a failure someone should answer for.

Together the three pieces read as one sequence: she breaks, we gather, we speak, someone answers. That is the order we want the world to learn.

Half of the revenue from every figurine is set aside for postpartum depression clinics and awareness work. Once the fund reaches £10,000 we open a public poll, and you — the customers — vote on which clinic, organisation or party the first sum goes to. After every round we publish what was raised and where it went.

The other half keeps the studio running: the sculpts, the casting, the hand-painting, the packaging and the postage. No agencies, no ad budget, no investors to answer to.
