Who controls your data

MKM MARKETING LIMITED (Company No. 17372248), trading as Stand With Her, is the data controller for this website and for orders placed on it.

What we collect and why

• Order data — name, delivery address, email, phone (if given) and order contents. Used to take payment, ship your figurine and handle returns. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Invoice and tax records — kept because company and tax law requires it. Legal basis: legal obligation.
• Correspondence — the emails or contact-form messages you send us, so we can answer them. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Donation vote — if you vote on which clinic receives the donation, we record the vote only, not an identity profile.
• Marketing email — only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe from any message. Legal basis: consent.

We do not run advertising pixels, we do not build visitor profiles, and we never sell your data.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we and our providers record limited technical information when you browse: browser type, device type, operating system, IP address, the pages you visited and the time spent on them. This non-personal information is used to keep the shop secure and working, and to understand which pages are useful. It is not used to build advertising profiles.

Payments

Checkout and payment are handled by Shopify on its own hosted checkout pages. Card details are entered on Shopify's systems and are never received or stored by us. Shopify processes that data as our provider under its own privacy notice.

How we protect your data

The whole site and checkout run over HTTPS with a valid SSL certificate, so data exchanged between your browser and our systems is encrypted. Card data is handled entirely by Shopify's PCI-DSS compliant checkout and never reaches our servers. Access to order records is limited to the people who need it to pack parcels and answer your messages.

International transfers

We may transfer, store and process your personal data outside the country where you live, because some of our providers operate internationally. Where data leaves the UK or the EEA, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, unless the destination country is covered by an adequacy decision.

Who we share data with

Shopify (checkout, orders and payment), FedEx (delivery and tracking), and our email provider (order confirmations and support replies). Some of these providers operate outside the UK/EEA; transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email info@lc-figurines.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision, and continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of it.

Cookies

This site sets essential cookies and local storage only: your basket contents, your Shopify checkout session and your cookie choice itself. These are required for the shop to work and cannot be switched off.

We currently run no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no advertising or social-media tags of any kind. The banner still lets you record a preference for optional analytics; nothing is loaded unless you consent and we add such a tool, and we will update this page before that happens. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records: for the statutory retention period required of a UK company. Support correspondence: up to two years. Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time — email info@lc-figurines.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to your national data protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
